Beanie Buy In Info.

The Beanie buy-in starts on January 19th and goes through February 1st. The Chinese New Year starts on the 21st of January and ends the 27th so they will not be taking orders until they return from that.

Rules:

You may order as many beanies as you would like. They are priced with the shipping from China included. When the we receive the beanies, we will send you an invoice through paypal for the shipping it costs for us to send it to you.

Everyone will be notified as soon as the beanies arrive. Depending on how many are ordered it takes 2-4 weeks to receive them. We'll keep you posted on whatever updates we receive from the company. There is a small order quantity we have to reach to be able to order the beanies, and if for some reason we don't hit that quota we will notify everyone and you can either choose to try and order more, or we'll just refund the money and will try again at another date.

PLEASE do not try to purchase if you are not a boutique owner!! We will check up on everyone who orders, and if you do not own a boutique (whether it's in a mall, or online, etc.) you're order will be cancelled and your money refunded.

If you want to try and pre-sale these items you're more than welcome to use our pictures to show your customers. :)

This month's theme is Christmas in July!! :) We are offering an adorable magnetic advant calendar and cute bottlecap necklaces (great for stocking stuffers!) as this month's crafts! You can never start too early getting ready for Christmas! :)

Here's the info.:

Sign-ups start for one of our make & takes, 3 weeks in advance. Everyone has one full week (7 days) to sign up and pay for their craft(s). After that week, those that have signed up and paid in FULL - their items will be ordered and shipped to us to be used at the make & take date provided.

To purchase the craft for the month, you must first purchase a seat (all proceeds from this go to pay for the building we're renting for the night), and then you purchase however many crafts you would like to make that night. Quantities are limited, and will most likely sell out, so don't wait to purchase your seat.

Crafts can be paid for through Paypal. If you do not have a Paypal account, you can still use Paypal as a guest and can pay with a credit or debit card.

I'm sorry, but no refunds will be issued after products have been ordered. We will be more than happy to reschedule you for the next make & take date to help you make your craft. :)

Yummy desserts are also served throughout the crafting day or night. :)

Book of the Month - Charlie St. Cloud!

While on vacation for our 1st anniversary last week, I read Charlie St. Cloud (in just 4 hours! I couldn't put it down!!!) So, this has definitely become one of my new favorite books! So, if you're looking for a good book to read, this is the one!

It's quite sad in the beginning, but it has an awesome ending, and lots of great twists in the story in the meantime to keep you on the edge of your seat.

I can't wait to see the movie this weekend!! :)

This is an 1.5" wide crocheted, elastic headband with a flower clip attached. The headband is white and the 4" Daisy clip is white as well with a big crystal rhinestone in the middle. The flower can also be taken off and worn separately, or change out the flowers to match any outfit!

These are adorable for babies or small children. They are a one size fits all, I can even wear these!

Crochet Granny Square Beanies

This is a crocheted, granny square beanie made in a gorgeous black, with a cute little cranberry and ivory flower. It is 6" from top to bottom, and 7" wide. It should fit any child/teen or adult.

This beanie is made out of 100% acrylic yarn, which has a gorgeous sheen to it, and is very soft, warm, and cozy. This would make a great gift!!!

Care: Machine wash, dry on low in dryer, or preferably hang dry (so it will keep its shape.)

Face Scrubbies

The mini scrubbies are 2" and are made from cotton yarn.

Round face scrubbies are 3" x 3" and are made from cotton yarn and have a loop convenient for hanging them by.

Square face scrubbies are 3.5" x 3.5" and are made from cotton yarn.

Anti-bacterial face scrubbies are made from acrylic anti-bacterial yarn flown in from Japan, and they also have loops for hanging.

The organic face scrubbies are round and are 3" x 3" and are made from organic cotton and bamboo yarns and also come with a loop for hanging.

Auction Results!

The results for the Emily Jones Auction are finally in.

The auction ended on Saturday, and between all 100 or so items, $5,820.50 was raised! What a great display of Christmas spirit - some of the women who donated items had cancer and were receiving cemo-therapy treatments, but still found the time to make something for this great cause. Others who purchased items, paid way above retail value, and when they received their bill for the items won, paid double their total, etc.

Thank you so much for everyone who participated in this - you're awesome!

They are even thinking of making this a yearly ordeal - next year you can nominate a needy family in your neighborhood, and if chosen, all of the proceeds from the auction will then go to that family.

A few of my items are being auctioned off for a great cause - John Jones was killed in a caving accident in Utah 2 weeks ago. He left behind his wife, Emily, who is expecting a new baby in June, and a young daughter.

Craft Show Results

October 11, 2009 - I just finished two very long days at the Country Craft Show in Filer, and am exhausted!!! Standing on your feet for 8 hours two days in a row is a lot!!

But I had a TON of fun!!! And can't wait to go back next year! I'm already planning my tables and fun new items to add to my collection.

These are some very fun new soaps I've made lately. First off we have the peeking fish. It's a squirting fish swimming in a pond of glycerin soap. These are $2.75 each.

Next, we have our black/purple, glittering mystery soap - the mystery is, which glowing animal, insect, or reptile will it have hidden inside? These are $2.25 each.

Then we have our "stuffed" crab. This is a block of glycerin soap with a crab "stuffed" inside of it. These are $2.50 each.

Now we have our slimy (glittery) reptile soaps. This one just happens to have a slimy snake inside - but they can have a lizard or a frog. These are $2.50 each.

Last, but not least, we have our pirate soap. This is glycerin soap with pirate coins stuck inside, just waiting to be taken. These are $2.50 each.
